Noam's first semester at Hampshire he lived in a dorm room. However due to a number of reasons (poor food, and his experience on the Hampshire farm and the CSA among others), he decided to move into a "Mod". This is a sort of an apartment "building" where a group of students share public space, including a kitchen, but have private (or two share) bedrooms. This year he got into a mod where they share cooking responsibilites. We helped him prepare a feast for those students who remained in the area for Thanksgiving.
