March 21, On the way to Dijon we stopped in the middle of some farmland to have a snack:
March 22, The Van was cold when we awoke in Beaune (outside of Dijon). It turns out the auxiliary heating system had broken. We spent most of the day looking into having it repaired (and decided that... going south, we no longer needed it):
March 23, Lyon is a big, bustling, (and, at lest in the center of town, a) beautiful city. We parked the van at the top of the mountain overlooking the city, cooked and ate our breakfast and walked down and around the city. Then we climbed back up the approximately 250 steps (independent of the final ascent):
