We had a moving experience during our clean-up days in NO. There are not many words that explain the inner feelings that we both feel seeing the destruction in the area. Life will be a long time returning to the area. I could place myself in their shoes and see how my life would have been turned upside down. The pure inner strength that the people of this area possess is amazing in my view. They have been through the worst and yet the worst is getting their lives back to where they were before the storm. A task hard enough in its own right. The memories will remain with us for a long time. I would hope to return there someday to continue to help restore the area where needed.
