Shortly before Mom and Dad left for Japan (for a psychologist’s conference) I took a number of photos of us gallivanting around the house. Mom had already brushed her hair and had not, yet, rebraided it.
the “famous” poster
We made two poster-sized copies of this. Jay has had one in his apartment on Kibbutz. The second was kept in Dad’s study at 3909 Burnside Ave. When Mom closed up the house I brought that one to my study in Poway. It is now in storage in Poway.
who is that?
When strangers (or, at least those who don’t know) ask “who is that?” Jay has answered: “My guru and her husband.”
This photo has also been used as the cover of a book of Hebrew poetry.
