Return flight to USA.
Most of us were lucky to sleep on the return flight. We arrived at JFK Airport and went through customs with no hassle. A little bus took us through a foggy, deserted, early morning, Manhattan over the Pulaski Skyway to the Newark Airport.
There we learned that our flight was delayed from landing because of heavy fog in Newark.
This flight had been due in from Lima, Peru, but was re-routed to land in Washington, D.C. We filled the time with reading, sleeping
and riding the moving walkway.
Arrive in Los Angeles the same day and continue by private chartered bus to the synagogue.
We owe special thanks to Nisus Software Inc. of Solana Beach, CA for making a PowerBook 520 available and Qualcomm Inc. of San Diego, CA for making an Olympus D-300L digital camera available.
Special thanks also to Joe and Dave of Computergeeks for space on their server.
Many thanks also to Lila Abrams of Abrams Travel, Inc. (1-800-338-7075) and her tireless efforts to make this trip a success.
